If you’re a fan of Caesar’s, you must try the Ultimate Sammy Caesar – Finlandia Vodka, Mott’s Clamato spiced with their own pepper infusion, and garnished with peppered bacon, pepperoni, havarti cheese, tiger prawn, blazes bean, olive, and a sprig of celery. Delicious doesn’t begin to describe this tasty unique drink concoction!
Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria (Opening Summer 2013) – Famoso was born after co-owner Justin Lussier traveled to Napoli, Italy in the summer of 2005 and fell in love with the famous mouth-watering fire-roasted pizzas Napoli is known for. We can’t all travel to Napoli to experience the best pizza on earth, but lucky for us Famoso has brought the age-old recipe of Neapolitan pizza to Canada. How? 00 Caputo flour and tomatoes imported straight from Italy combine with fresh ingredients and cooked at 900 F for 90 seconds in a bell oven. Doesn’t get more authentic than that!
New Restaurant Concept by Vikram Vij (Opening Summer 2013) – Yes, that Vikram Vij. The one who brought you the incredibly popular Vij’s and Rangoli. You won’t have to head into Vancouver to experience these culinary delights any longer with his third location opening up soon at Morgan Crossing! Their cuisine is unique in that they stay away from the typical tandoor oven commonly used in Indian restaurants. Instead, they focus their efforts on keeping authentic spices and techniques from all regions of India, while using locally grown meats, seafood and produce. In fact, Vij’s has become such an establishment that it has its own documentary – A Day In the Life of Vij’s – watch here.Summer 2013 can’t come fast enough!
